ISTHA Dixie Creek Relocation – Tri-State Tollway

The $3.3M Dixie Creek Relocation project is part of the $719M interchange project that will connect I-294 and I-57 as part of the Tollway’s $12B capital program, Move Illinois. Work consists of property acquisition, Army Corps of Engineers and NPDES permitting, construction of drainage control structures, pile driving, storm sewer installation (conventional and jacked), construction of a reinforced concrete protection slab for an existing 10-foot diameter storm sewer, retaining wall construction, mass earthwork, erosion and sediment control and landscaping.

CivCon Services, Inc., as the Prime Consultant, provides Construction Management and oversight, coordination with local municipalities, ISTHA project managers, Corridor Construction Managers, the Design Section Engineer and the Contractor; the review and approval of material and schedule submittals; chairing a weekly progress meeting with project stakeholders; and the use of the ISTHA web-based project management database (Proliance).
