The $415M CTA Dan Ryan Track project consists of the complete reconstruction of the Red Line Dan Ryan from the Subway Portal at 16th Street to the stock rail at 95th Street. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of the contact rail and running rail including cast plates with drive spikes and e-clips north of the north reconstruction limits to the south stockrail at 95th Street Interlocking Facility. The existing ASCE 85 contact rail in this section is to be reinstalled as auxiliary negative rail.
CivCon Services, Inc., as part of the Construction Management Team provides Office Engineering and Project Controls support assisting the Project Controls Manager with contractor pay requisition review, submittal and RFI processing and other document control duties. This project is managed via the web with the clients preferred software – E-builder.
